JORDAN ENGINEERING serves the plastics industry as an injection mold
design, engineering, and consulting source.
By sourcing/contracting overseas or locally our services range from critiquing
or developing product designs for injection molding; engineer, design, and
detail production molds, to mold tooling and production molding.
JORDAN ENGINEERING is staffed with three engineers with a combined experience
of over 80 years. Diverse backgrounds in mold design, plastics processing, and
tool room management allows us to design and engineer complex molds, such as
‘hot runner’, ‘stack’ and ‘unwind’. Our CAD capabilities include both 2D
drawings in ‘AutoCAD’ and 3D solid modeling in ‘Solidworks’. We have hands-on
experience in injection molding, profile extrusion, and blow molding. We are
technically fluent in English & Spanish.
We have been sourcing molds overseas since 1982. We assist customers in tool
source and project management with local and overseas (Shenzhen, Shanghai,
Portugal, Costa Rica, Taiwan, Canada) sources. These tools are guaranteed when
placed with our certified moldmakers. We provide clients with technical
expertise in improving existing tools, cycle times, and start up of injection
molding operations.

Randy Jordan, owner & founder of JORDAN ENGINEERING.
Started career as an engineer in plastic and die-cast plants. Worked in
moldmaking shops designing & engineering tools, working with molds, quotes,
and shop management assistance.
Beginning as a designer was later promoted to engineering manager, at CACO
Pacific Corporation, a major U.S.A. mold making company based in California.
CACO also has their own production molding plant, which is used for engineering
and debugging molds.
Founded & established Capistrano Plastics, Inc. in 1977 as designer,
engineer, and consultant to the plastics industry. Through our engineering we
became involved in injection molding and grew to a modern seven-machine plant.
Capistrano Plastics, Inc. was sold in 1986, moved to a new location and
expanded to thirteen machines. Involved in the layout and construction of a new
26,000 square foot plant. Once up and running profitably, returned to main area
of interest: design and consulting, starting JORDAN ENGINEERING in 1987.
